Stackmark is a static site. Reading it sends us nothing you typed. This notice covers the two things that can: the shortlist form and, where a deployment enables it, page analytics.
The pages are generated in advance and served as files. No account exists, no cookie is set by Stackmark, and the tools — the comparison, the cost estimator, the requirements builder, the benchmark, the partner finder — run in your browser. Where a tool remembers your draft between visits it does so in your browser’s own storage, which never leaves your device and which you can clear at any time.
One form on the site asks for an email address, so that we can send you the shortlist you built. When you send it, we receive the address, the filters the shortlist was built with (for example a category, an industry or a company size), the time, and the country your connection appears to come from. We use them to send you one email about that shortlist.
The address is not added to a mailing list, not enriched from any other source, and not passed to any vendor, partner or advertiser. The endpoint stores nothing; it forwards the submission to a single inbox we control. Our commitment is to delete it from that inbox once the reply is sent, and in any case within 90 days. That deletion is a practice we hold ourselves to, not something the software enforces.
A deployment may enable Vercel Web Analytics. When enabled, it records page views and a handful of named events — a filter applied, an estimate produced, an export downloaded, a partner list viewed — without cookies and without identifying you: the hash it uses to count a visit is derived from the request and discarded daily. No event carries anything you typed. Where analytics is not enabled, no script loads. See the cookie notice.
The site is served by a hosting provider, which sees the request your browser makes — the address of the page, your IP address, your browser’s user agent — in order to serve it, as any web host does. Stackmark does not receive those server logs.
If you sent the form, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, by replying to the email you received. We will do so within 30 days. There is nothing else to request, because nothing else is held.
If the site starts collecting anything not described here, this notice changes first and the change is logged on the corrections page.
